Cannes : Fashion at the Festival!

What would Cannes be without the red carpet, the flashing cameras and the excited onlookers? Without the large luxury fashion houses spoiling the most beautiful actresses in the world? Amongst the most glamorous, the ambassadresses of L'Oreal Paris, the Festival's official makeup for 15 years.

Eva Longoria strikes a pose in her long tulle dress signed Marchesa or in her Pucci gown. Just like Cheryl Cole who created a buzz in Stéphane Rolland, Leïla Bekhti in Armani, accompanied by Inès de la Freissange, Freida Pinto in Michael Angel and Atelier Versace and Jane Fonda in Stella McCartney, both adorned with Chopard jewellery. The Festival's ultimate prize, the Palme d'Or, was born in the ateliers of the famous jeweler. Official partner of Cannes, Chopard once again makes a special Red Carpet collection that sparkles, with a set of white gold and diamond jewels in tribute to Marilyn Monroe, worn by Eva Herzigova. But also, in Dior Couture, Marion Cotillard's headpiece; in Prada, Berénice Béjo's discreet jewels; in a Stéphane Rolland gown, Paz Vega's earrings or those of Jessica Chastain who was wearing Armani Privé. More glamorous than ever, the beautiful redhead also walked the red carpet in Gucci. The sexy devilish spirit of the Italian fashion house seduced the model Natasha Poly, the actress Gemma Arterton and of course Gucci's new muse, Charlotte Casiraghi. Future Bond girl, Berenice Marlohe, made her début in Roberto Cavalli, and Emilio Pucci. As well as being Swarovski's muse, she is the face of a house which, in her suite at the Martinez, presented no less than eight hundred exceptional pieces, including the Swarovski Diary. Dressed in white leather and personalized crystal letters, it reveals real treasures hidden inside it, the sign of absolute glamour. A glamour where the Palme d'Or was given to Diane Kruger, ethereal in Giambattista Valli Couture and mermaid-like in Vivienne Westwood.

Eva Longoria : It's the most special red carpet in the world, because it's the Palais. It's decades of glamour, and stars and film that have been on the stage. It's pretty special.
